  • On phones, the animation after a check-in no longer pushes the page sideways for a moment.

  • Signing out now also removes the copies of your data that EmberTrack keeps for offline use, so the next person on a shared device can't find them.
  • Changes you make offline only ever sync to your own account. If someone else signs in on your device after your session ended, your offline copies and any changes not synced yet are removed first.
  • A short connection drop or a server hiccup while EmberTrack renews your session no longer ends it or deletes your offline copies, and changes you made offline stay queued until the server answers again.
  • The "Session expiring soon" notice no longer covers the menu at the top. It now sits at the bottom of the screen, stays in view while you scroll, and no longer shows once you are signed out.
  • On phones, the "What's new" and "Install EmberTrack" pop-ups fit on the screen, no longer cover the tabs at the bottom, and stack instead of hiding each other. On a computer they no longer cover the Feedback button.
  • Closing the trial, "Subscription cancelled" or California notice no longer makes the page jump.

  • Signing out (or opening another page) while EmberTrack was open during an update no longer shows a "Something went wrong" page. The app loads the new version and carries on, so after signing out you land on the log-in page.

  • One account per email address. If you signed up with Google, GitHub or HelveticLabs, signing in with that service again always takes you to the same account, and you can add a password any time with "Forgot password?".
  • The sign-in page only shows the sign-in options that are actually available.
  • Setting a new password signs you out on every other device.

  • Pages no longer scroll sideways on small phones. The header fits, and long streak names, share links and device details wrap onto the next line instead of being cut off.
  • Blog post summaries and the older/newer post links now show their full text.

  • You no longer get signed out a few minutes after logging in. Sessions now stay valid for their full 30 days, across reloads and on mobile.
  • The dashboard no longer shows the "Start your first streak" welcome screen when your streaks simply failed to load. It now tells you what went wrong and offers a Try again button, so your streaks are never hidden behind a first-run screen.
  • An error message left over from a failed load no longer stays on screen after your streaks load again.

  • Tasks are now one-off instead of repeating. When a day, week, or month ends, the tasks you finished are cleared, and anything you didn't get to stays open and waiting — so you start each period seeing only what's still left, not yesterday's ticked-off list. "No Deadline" tasks stay put until you delete them.
  • The task tabs now read "Today", "This Week", and "This Month" to make it clear which deadline each bucket means.
  • Dragging to reorder tasks on a touchscreen now uses a short press-and-hold, so scrolling the list no longer starts a drag by accident.
