Add Notes to Check-Ins and Organize Streaks with Tags
Your streaks, with context
A check-in used to be a single yes: you showed up. But how you showed up is often worth remembering. Two new features let you capture that and keep a growing dashboard tidy.
Notes: a line about how it went
When you check in, you can now attach a short note — up to 500 characters. Use it however you like:
- "Ran 5k, felt great"
- "Only managed 5 minutes, but I showed up"
- "New personal best on the bench"
Your notes live in the streak's history, so looking back becomes a real journal of your progress instead of just a wall of checkmarks.
Tags: group what belongs together
Give any streak one or more tags — "health," "work," "morning routine," whatever fits your life. Then use the tag chips on your dashboard to filter down to just what you want to see.
- Getting through a workout block? Filter to fitness and hide the rest.
- Planning your evening? Show only your evening habits.
- Running lots of streaks? Tags keep the dashboard from becoming a scroll.
You can filter by more than one tag at once, so slicing your habits by mood, time of day, or life area takes a couple of taps.
Small features, big difference
Neither of these changes what a streak is — they just let your dashboard match how your brain organizes your life. Which is exactly when a habit tracker starts to feel like it's yours.
